    Shahi Kairi is our most formal print: generous kairi (paisley) buta in indigo and haldi ochre, finished with a border that repeats the same palette. It’s printed in a single colourway — the indigo and ochre are mixed to sit together, so we don’t make it in others.

    Four blocks go into every kairi, registered by eye, which gives the motif its slightly hand-drawn edges. Printed on a 160 thread-count cotton percale.

    Sanganeri hand block printing has held Geographical Indication status since 2010, meaning the name can only be used for cloth block-printed by Chippa artisans in and around Sanganer, Rajasthan, using hand-carved wooden blocks.

    160 thread-count, 190 GSM pure cotton percale, pre-shrunk before printing and washed again after.

    Wash cold and separately for the first three washes; indigo naturally releases a little colour at first. Dry in shade.

    All sheets are flat sheets with a deep tuck allowance. Single 90×60in, Double 90×100in, King 108×100in.
