Lal Phulwari — the red flower garden — is an all-over print with no border at all: blossoms and leaves pressed so close together that the cloth reads as one continuous garden.
It takes three blocks and three passes to build up the madder red, ochre and leaf tones, and the printer works from the centre of the sheet outward so the pattern never drifts. Printed on a 160 thread-count cotton percale that’s light enough for warm nights.

What makes a print genuinely “Sanganeri”?
Sanganeri hand block printing has held Geographical Indication status since 2010, meaning the name can only be used for cloth block-printed by Chippa artisans in and around Sanganer, Rajasthan, using hand-carved wooden blocks.
What fabric and thread count do you use?
160 thread-count, 185 GSM pure cotton percale, pre-shrunk before printing and washed again after.
How do I wash a hand-printed sheet?
Wash cold and separately for the first three washes, as madder red can release a little colour at first. Dry in shade.
Which size should I order?
All sheets are flat sheets with a deep tuck allowance. Single 90×60in, Double 90×100in, King 108×100in.
