Kesar Buta is laid out the way Sanganeri sheets have been for generations: an open field of flowering buta, each one stamped by hand, framed by a deep kinari border printed from a separate block.
The border and field are printed on different days so each colour can cure before the next goes on, which keeps the edges of every flower crisp. The base is our everyday 144 thread-count cotton percale — cool, matte and easy to care for.

What does “Kesar Buta” mean?
“Buta” is the flowering motif in Indian block printing, and “kesar” refers to its warm saffron-toned character. This design has rows of flowering buta framed by a deep kinari border.
What makes a print genuinely “Sanganeri”?
Sanganeri hand block printing has held Geographical Indication status since 2010, meaning the name can only be used for cloth block-printed by Chippa artisans in and around Sanganer, Rajasthan, using hand-carved wooden blocks.
What fabric and thread count do you use?
144 thread-count, 180 GSM pure cotton percale, pre-shrunk before printing and washed again after.
How do I wash a hand-printed sheet?
Wash cold and separately for the first three washes. Turn the sheet inside out to protect the border, and dry in shade.
Which size should I order?
All sheets are flat sheets with a deep tuck allowance. Single 90×60in, Double 90×100in, King 108×100in.
