Amber Jaal is the warm sibling of our Neela Jaal: the same open lattice, carved across two blocks and pressed edge to edge, printed in a honeyed amber that glows in lamplight.
The amber is mixed in small batches and fixed with a mordant before printing, so it settles into the cloth rather than sitting on top of it. The result is a print that softens and deepens slightly with washing instead of fading.
The base is our 144 thread-count cotton percale — breathable, matte and easy to care for — and, as with every jaal, the lattice is realigned by eye at each repeat.

What makes a print genuinely “Sanganeri”?
Sanganeri hand block printing has held Geographical Indication status since 2010, meaning the name can only be used for cloth block-printed by Chippa artisans in and around Sanganer, Rajasthan, using hand-carved wooden blocks.
What fabric and thread count do you use?
144 thread-count, 180 GSM pure cotton percale, pre-shrunk before printing and washed again after.
How do I wash a hand-printed sheet?
Wash cold and separately for the first three washes. The amber deepens slightly over time; avoid bleach and dry in shade.
Which size should I order?
All sheets are flat sheets with a deep tuck allowance. Single 90×60in, Double 90×100in, King 108×100in.
